Sara Michelle Design is proud to sponsor, Jessica Escamilla, as the 2017 Ms. Wheelchair Texas USA. As a sponsor, SMD will be designing marketing materials for Jessica as she compete for the title of Ms. Wheelchair USA. In addition, we will be assisting with events throughout the Houston area.
Ms. Wheelchair Texas USA 2017 is committed to spreading awareness about Depression and inspiring others to seek help when needed.
Jessica Escamilla, Ms. Wheelchair Texas USA 2017, has launched the Depression - Tell Your Heart to Beat Again campaign. This campaign is designed to spread awareness about the high rates of depression among spinal cord injury survivors, as well as help individuals in need find healthy support systems to live stronger, happier lives. Jessica's mission is to inspire others to embrace their individuality and physical attributes, whatever they may be, and rise above tragedy and adversity to live their dreams. She makes local appearances and visits assisted living facilities in an effort to erase the stigma surrounding depression and encourage others to create support groups. She works to end bullying and cyberbullying among teens and young adults and has plans to create support groups in schools and youth organizations to help foster more accepting and nurturing environments for children and youth with special needs. As Ms. Wheelchair Texas USA 2017, Jessica continually strives to reach those in need on a national platform so she can encourage others like her to let go of hurts, fears, and pains and embrace who they are and what they can offer the world.
